Focus! Why is it so difficult?

Kestrel’s have it for sure, just watch one hover in place with its eyes scanning a small area waiting for prey to appear.

I’ve been thinking about why it sometimes seems so difficult for me to focus on something and give it my full attention. This rings true in both my work and my photography but I’ll focus on the latter here.

If you’ve perused my site you’ll see I have a number of projects on the go and whilst I think that is important for my journey I am beginning to wonder if I should take a different approach. I am thinking that maybe I should pick a project to display on my site, just one, and then commit a certain period of time to just shooting with that project in mind? That’s not to say I won’t shoot other stuff because it is important to exercise the photographic muscles every time you can but setting out with a goal means having something to focus on.

You know, the more I think about it the more I realise I should try this at work too. Yeah, let’s give it a go!
