Just lost a best friend

I’m not sorry I didn’t give up my room for you when we rented together in that house in Erdington. You know it made us both laugh that the biggest guy was in the smallest room.
I’m not sorry I kept feeding you wine and bourbon when you came to visit us in New Jersey in 2009. You were a grownup; you could have said no!

All of it was payback for making me sit on a deckchair in the back of a van on the ride from Melbourne to Brisbane alongside a bloody big container of petrol.

I miss you mate, you left this world far too soon. I will always love you.
